I had the pleasure of styling Melody Sawasaki on her wedding day earlier this year. My apologies for not getting to this sooner. Life happened! This beautiful bride, Melody Eng, was referred to me by her sister Davina-thank you Davi!!! Melody teaches high school math, so she normally does not wear a ton of makeup to work, although eyeliner is her thing. Melody wanted a natural-elegant look, which she rocked from my perspective. For her look, we focused on her eyes to make them pop and created a soft chic look. She has the sweetest personality and Matt is super lucky to have her. Her wedding was in the city of Redondo Beach. The location of styling her was at the cutest little hotel, Hotel Portofino. If you haven’t been, it is so pretty, right off the shore. The hotel even provides guests with complimentary bikes to borrow-plus plus in my books. I loved the smell of the ocean breeze! CONGRATULATIONS MELODY & MATT!!! CHEERS TO HAPPINESS!!!! ❤ 
Jo & Danny’s 10th Wedding Anniversary July 12, 2014
Josefina De Leon is a beautiful, down to earth, fun loving- dear friend that we met from our good friends Daniel & Sandy. Jo and Danny have been training with Randy (hubby) for the past months. As a mom and professional, I have to say.. Jo is in tip-top shape!
A few days prior: I thought my water broke, so i was under the impression that I wouldn’t be able to style her for her big day! Thank God it was a false alarm!
The day of: After styling Jo, I was honored to help Jo get into her tiny (size 0?!) gown that she elegantly wore for her casual (she says!) backyard 10 year anniversary party! She was just full of joy that day as shown through her excitement. Although we couldn’t stay for the party, the pictures tell a thousand words. Jo, Danny, Emma Jay, & Griffin Johnson are a blessed family!! I’m sure anyone who knows this family, has nothing but positive things to say.

Brace yourselves.. These pictures are drop dead gorgeous! Typically, for engagement sessions, I see the same backgrounds and poses. But, Chocolate Photography (http://chocolate-photography.com/) are seriously on a different level of creativity. When I first saw these photos, I told my sister, Cindy, that I am jealous that she has so many good photos! My Sister, Cindy, finally found her love and these photos truly captivate their love for each other.
Photos were taken in the beautiful city of South Pasadena. Mission wines is where they had one of their first dates.
I love how my sister trusts me with her makeup without questions. LOVE YOU SIS!
Amy’s Maternity Shoot
I met Amy Huang, owner of Ax2d photography (www.Ax2d.com) last summer when I was working on a wedding. At the time, she was pregnant, so we talked about babies since i just LOVE them! Amy & her husband work as a team in doing wedding photography. She is super kind and easy to talk to. I was also drawn to her by her walk with the Lord.
I was so pleased when she asked if I was interested in doing her hair & makeup for her maternity shoot! Months back i encouraged her to do a maternity shoot as she was contemplating about the pros and the cons.
I regret not doing a maternity shoot when i was pregnant with my now, almost 5 year old son! Pregnancy is a beautiful thing, only women are blessed to experience and embrace the time that the baby is being nurtured inside until it’s ready to come out!

Bridal shoot
First time i met Manya at Manyaphotography.com, I was in awe by her knowledge. She just retired from her 10+ years of experience as a hair and makeup artist in order to fully dedicate herself to photography. I am blown away by her passion for photography as an art! I have to thank my mentor and agent Joyce Luck (www.joyceluckstyle.com) for introducing me to Manya.
This bridal shoot features Angelic Shen (model), 3rd princess in the Miss Chinatown pageant, 2007. Angelic was so easygoing and fun to converse with! We kept looking at each other like we knew that we have seen each other somewhere before. Angelic is styled by bridal stylist, Hope Stanley in this stunning wedding dress. Hair and makeup by me. 🙂
After the photoshoot, i realized that Angelic is friends with one of my good friends, Jody Chan, who is also a former pageant princess in 2008 (blog post coming soon). Small world!

Michelle & Ben’s Engagement
Michelle and Ben are my friends from church. I had the pleasure of meeting Michelle when she was volunteering to take care of the kids at a mom’s group meeting i attended. My son, who was only 2 at the time and had an insecure attachment to me, instantly felt comfortable with her!
Michelle is a fun, simple, humble person, despite her the richness of her background. Ben is really lucky to have her! And I’m sure Ben would say the same about Michelle!
